The Trinity Listening Party
An immersive sound experience at Judson Memorial Church
April 18, 2026
Judson Memorial Church
Join us for an intimate, immersive listening experience celebrating The Trinity, a trilogy of large-scale works for choir and orchestra by composer Philippe Treuille. Presented inside the historic sanctuary of Judson Memorial Church, the Listening Party invites audiences to enter a meditative, communal space shaped entirely by sound, light, and stillness.
For this event, the church will be transformed into a relaxed, contemplative environment. Guests are encouraged to bring their own pillows, blankets, or yoga mats and make themselves comfortable on the sanctuary floor as the full recordings of Baptism, Nuptials, and Requiem unfold in a continuous arc. Limited table seating will also be available for those who prefer chairs.
The evening is designed as both a premiere and a ritual, an opportunity to hear The Trinity as a complete cycle, to feel its emotional landscape, and to experience its journey from birth to union to remembrance. Before the listening begins, Philippe will offer a brief introduction to the trilogy’s themes and creative process. Afterward, guests are welcome to stay, reflect, and connect.
